The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office reports a deputy was struck by a vehicle Monday while directing traffic at Coal Mountain Elementary. His injuries are not life threatening. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and the accident is being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
