Siemens Industry, an international company with a location in Alpharetta, has a long-standing tradition of working with Forsyth County Schools. Recently, Siemens partnered with Lambert High School by donating an all-electric van to the school. This van will benefit the engineering, robotics, and science departments. Through Siemens’ donation, students involved in the Engineering Pathway and STEM courses will have the opportunity to travel with over-sized equipment and supplies to competitions and conferences in a safe, green way. Siemens has supported multiple Forsyth County schools for many years through a high school work study program, student internships, and STEM curriculum development, and they look forward to this new opportunity further encouraging students to explore the STEM area.
“Lambert High School is thrilled to be in partnership with Siemens Corporation through their donation,” said Dr. Gary Davison, Principal, Lambert High School. “We gladly accept their generosity of an electric powered van for our programs to use. Our engineering, robotics, and science departments will truly benefit from their gift. We thank Siemens for their commitment to education, kids, and the community.”
