The final week of Advance Voting is underway for the June 16 Special Election to fill the vacancy in Georgia House District 24 and the vacancy in Cumming City Council Post 1. In Forsyth County, Georgia House District 24 encompasses portions of the Coal Mountain precinct, portions of the Cumming precinct, portions of the Midway precinct, portions of the Heardsville precinct, portions of the Otwell precinct and portions of the Polo precinct. Only those voters who reside in Georgia House District 24 and/or the city of Cumming are eligible to vote in this election.
Advance Voting Underway with Three Locations
Advance Voting for the June 16 Special Election continues at three locations in the downtown and west Forsyth areas of the county. Forsyth County registered voters who reside in Georgia House District 24 and/or the city of Cumming may take advantage of Advance Voting at any of the three Advance Voting locations.

Wednesday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, June 11, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday, June 12, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, June 13-15: NO VOTING
If you are unable to take advantage of Advance Voting you will need to go to your designated polling location on Tuesday, June 16. The six precincts/polling locations involved in this election will be open on June 16 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters are urged to verify their Election Day precinct prior to going out to the polls on Election Day. To confirm your voter registration and your Election Day voting precinct, go to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.
