At their Nov. 6 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners recognized the accomplishments of local Girl Scout Sarah Bock.
Bock was presented with a Resolution from the commissioners in recognition of earning the Girl Scout Gold Award. The award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting for girls in grades 9 through 12 who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through sustainable and measurable Take Action projects. Bock is a member of Troop 13728 in the Girl Scouts of the United States of America and is a student at South Forsyth High School.
