The summer break is a great time for young athletes to strengthen their skills. Forsyth County Parks and Recreation still has openings in a youth football camp and co-ed speed camp taking place in June and July.
Youth Football Camp at South Forsyth High School
Instructional camp teaching the proper fundamentals, skills and football techniques led by the South Forsyth High School Football staff
Activity 312656-A: Monday – Thursday; June 22-25; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; ages 5-13; $100 for county residents and $120 for non-county residents
Co-Ed Speed Camp at South Forsyth High School
Instructional camp covering skills to help promote conditioning, speed, agility and flexibility for all athletes led by the South Forsyth High School Football staff
Activity 312856-A: Monday – Wednesday; July 6-8; 6 to 8 p.m.; ages 6-14; $100 for county residents and $120 for non-county residents
Pre-registration is required for all camps. Online registration is available on the Parks and Recreation Department page at www.forsythco.com/parks or in person at any of the county’s three recreation centers. Central Park is located at 2300 Keith Bridge Road. Fowler Park is located at 4110 Carolene Way. Old Atlanta Park is located at 810 Nichols Road.
