Voting for August 21 General Primary Runoff Underway

Vote 2012Early/Saturday/Advance Voting for the August 21 General Primary Runoff will begin Friday, August 10, and will run through Friday, August 17. Forsyth County registered voters may cast their ballot during Early Voting (August 10 – August 11) at the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming.

Early Voting (August 10 – August 11) will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 10, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 11.

Advance Voting (August 13 – August 17) will be available at five locations throughout the county with extended voting hours.

Please note there is no Absentee, Early or Advance Voting the Monday prior to any election.

In order to be eligible to vote in the August 21 Runoff: You must be a registered voter in Forsyth County as of the July 2, 2012 registration deadline and * you must have voted a Republican ballot in the July 31 Primary or * you must have voted a Non-Partisan ballot in the July 31 Primary or * you did not vote in the July 31 Primary. Any voter who voted a Democratic ballot in the July 31 Primary is not eligible to vote in the August 21 Runoff.
