Traffic along Georgia 400 was delayed for hours after a vehicle left the bridge over Lake Lanier, crashing into the water below.
The driver, Samantha Silverman, 33, of Cumming, has been charged with DUI – drugs, suspended license, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane. Silverman also had a warrant for possession of Methamphetamine.
Silverman was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
