Three Pinecrest Academy Seniors Recognized as Commended Students

Pinecrest Academy seniors Gabby Elias, Wendy Oshinski and Andy Rodriguez, have been named Commended Students in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2015 competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

For the second year Forsyth County Schools’ students have topped the state for graduation rates among Georgia’s 20 largest school districts with 90.3%. This is a 0.8% increase from the district’s 2013 graduation rate.
