Public Hearing Regarding Proposed Revisions to the Forsyth County Sign Ordinance (Electronic Message Boards)

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in order to consider an amendment to the Forsyth County Sign Ordinance at the board’s meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at 5 p.m.

The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public review and comment concerning proposed modifications to the Forsyth County Sign Ordinance to provide a new section regarding Electronic Message Boards, the time frequency by which Electronic Message Boards may change their message content, and other related changes clarifying the definition section, and other related provisions; to repeal conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes.

The public hearing will be held in the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 220), located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
