Public Hearing Regarding Proposed Amendment to the Forsyth County Sign Ordinance

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in order to consider an amendment to the Forsyth County Sign Ordinance, otherwise known as Forsyth County Ordinance 74, at the board’s meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 5 p.m.

The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public review and comment concerning a proposed modification regarding the availability of Electronic Message Boards along two lane or greater public roadways for properties being used for certain specified institutional and non-profit purposes; to repeal conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes.

The public hearing will be held in the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 220), located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
