Public Hearing on Moratorium Regarding LED Conversions to Billboards Adjacent to Georgia 400

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in order to consider a moratorium regarding LED conversions to billboards adjacent to Georgia 400 at a special called public hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at 5 p.m.

The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public review and comment concerning a Resolution of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners enacting a 90-day moratorium on conversion of certain nonconforming signs to LED signs along Georgia Highway 400 and for other purposes.

The public hearing will be held in the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 220), located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.

At their Jan. 15, 2015 meeting, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved a Resolution enacting a limited moratorium on conversion of certain nonconforming signs to LED signs along Georgia Highway 400.
