Timothy Eric Gibson faces numerous charges following his arrest last weekend. Forsyth County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence near Mary Alice Park Road where they observed the suspect dressed in all black inside a vehicle he had entered.
“When deputies made contact with Gibson, he attempted to flee, dropping stolen items from the vehicle as he ran,” said a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office. Gibson dropped a handgun during the pursuit. The suspect was tazed and taken into custody following a brief foot chase. Deputies recovered stolen money as well as some jewelry.
Gibson was charged with four counts of Entering Auto, two counts of Obstruction of Officers, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony. Gibson also had a warrant out of Forsyth County for a Court Order violation.
