Keep Forsyth County Beautiful Seeks Volunteers for Annual Rivers Alive Cleanup

Rivers AliveMake a positive impact on local waterways by joining Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) for the 2014 Rivers Alive Cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 9 am. KFCB encourages families, co-workers, scout troops and organizations to volunteer for the annual waterway cleanup event.

Volunteer teams can register for the event by calling KFCB at 770.205.4573 or by clicking on the volunteer tab at www.keepforsythcountybeautiful.org. The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 15.

Volunteers will meet at Mary Alice Park (1820 Mary Alice Park Road in Cumming) at 9 am on October 18 to gather supplies. Volunteers will proceed to clean as many lake, river and wetland locations as possible before returning to Mary Alice Park for lunch.
