GLBC and Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery Join Community Activists to Oppose Charter School Amendment

ATLANTA (September 24, 2012) –Senator Emanuel Jones (D-Decatur), Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus will be joined by various community activists including Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, NAACP, SCLC, Rainbow Push Coalition, The Peoples Agenda, The Coalition of Black Women, Vote Smart, Working Families for Georgia and others to call on voters to reject the Charter School Amendment on the November ballot.
