GATA Player of the Week: Jake Wieczorek

The GATA Elite Sports Training Forsyth County Player of the Week is running back Jake Wieczorek from West Forsyth High School. Jake is a Senior, 5’11″ 190 lbs and plays wing back, returns kick offs and wears jersey #10.

In last Friday’s 63-42 victory over Alpharetta, Jake had 18 carries for 163 yards resulting in 4 Touchdowns. Jake had one long run for 75 yards. He also had 1 pass reception for 17 yards and returned a kick off for 25 yards. Jake was recommended by his head coach Frank Hepler.

Jake is currently being recruited to play college football and has had interest from Johns Hopkins, Samford, Fordham, and Furman.

West Forsyth is currently ranked #5 in the State of Georgia in AAAAAA football. The Wolverines are currently 4-0 and will play Centennial on Friday night.

The GATA Sports Training Forsyth County Player of the Week plaque will be given to Jake Wieczorek from Ryan Goldin and his name will be added to a 2012 High School Football Plaque in the lobby of GATA Sports Training Facility.
