GATA Forsyth County Player of the Week: Cornerback Matthew Cira

The GATA Elite Sports Training Forsyth County Player of the Week is cornerback Matthew Cira from South Forsyth High School.  Matthew is a Junior, 5’11″ 180 lbs and wears jersey #28.

All six Forsyth county schools lost games last Friday night.   In last Friday’s 35-0 loss to Johns Creek, Matthew had 11 solo tackles and 7 assist tackles.  Matthew was recommended by the South Forsyth Coaching staff.

South Forsyth is currently 3-5 and play at #5 rated West Forsyth High School on Friday night.  South started the season with 3 straight wins but has lost the last 5 in some very competitive match-ups.  South finishes the season playing North Forsyth at home on November 9th.

The GATA Sports Training Forsyth County Player of the Week plaque will be given to Matthew Cira  from Ryan Goldin and his name will be added to a 2012 High School Football Plaque in the lobby of GATA Sports Training Facility at 11455 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. 404-597-4247.
