Forsyth County Tea Party Endorses Cindy Jones Mills

Now that the field has been narrowed to just two candidates, The Forsyth County Tea Party is endorsing Cindy Jones Mills in the District 4 County Commissioner’s Run-off Race. This decision is based on a review of the incumbent’s voting record and actions on the Board of Commissioners over the past four years, a review of the previous debates held by both the Forsyth County Tea Party and the Forsyth County GOP and an internal vetting process. The Forsyth County Tea Party believes that Ms. Mills is more closely aligned with the principles and values of the Tea Party movement and brings a wealth of previous County service experience and knowledge to the table. She has the temperament that is required to analytically evaluate the important issues faced by the Board of Commissioners and to work amicably with the other commissioners, county departments and the public to determine the best course of action for the benefit of the county residents.
