A weekend motorcycle crash became fatal when Brandon Egli, 26, of Cumming attempted to negotiate a curve on Hickory Hills Road. According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, on May 3, Egli crossed the center line into the lane of oncoming traffic striking an oncoming vehicle. Egli died at the hospital as a result of injuries sustained during the accident. There were no injuries in the other vehicle.
Forsyth deputies also investigated another motorcycle accident on Samples Road the same day. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
