Hall County authorities have confirmed a body found in Lake Lanier is that of 25 year old Kelly Nash who disappeared Jan. 5.
Nash’s body was discovered floating near a private dock Sunday afternoon. According to authorities, Nash drowned and foul play has been ruled out.
Several searches by Nash’s family and friends have been conducted since his Jan. 5 disappearance and a reward offered for information leading to his whereabouts.
On Monday, the following was posted on the Kelly Nash Missing Facebook page: “Thank you for all of your prayers. At this time, the family respectfully request privacy regarding Kelly. We know many of you have questions, as do we, but unfortunately there are no answers to share at the moment. Please continue to keep the Nash family in your thoughts and prayers.”
